What is CLIL ?
CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. It is an educational approach that encourages multilingualism in schools by teaching subjects in more than one language.
The Content and Language Integrated Learning approach was developed in 1994 by a team led by Prof. David Marsh of the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. It was designed to encourage multilingualism in Europe. Since then it has been successfully adapted and implemented in Malaysia, Spain, Hong Kong, and Singapore.- Category
